CompVerdi Aqueous Compostable Board
CompVerdi is a cupstock type board treated with a proprietary aqueous coating to make the board biodegradable, compostable and easy to recycle. The product has no clay coating, no PLA, no PE and no OBAs. According to EN 13432, it is certified to biodegrade and become compostable in 12 weeks. The board is manufactured in 4 layers: 2 chemical layers on top, one on the back and one chemical/mechanical layer in the middle. The aqueous coating is sprayed on the back during the production of the board.
CompVerdi is suitable for beverage and food packaging. It can be printed with flexography and offset.
